snowy branches

A Snowy Day – I took this photo during winter of 1994, my first year of college at Indiana University in Bloomington. We had 17 inches of snow and school was officially cancelled!

Playing in the Snow! – This photo was taken by a dear friend of mine during winter 1994. We were celebrating the closure of school for the day with a massive “Dorm versus Dorm” snowball fight! My dorm, Ashton, had a strategy and celebrated a successful triumph over our enemies (Teter).

Aunt Helen

Aunt Helen – This is a warm memory for me and my sister, Cathy. My dear Aunt Helen was 91 years old in this photo. It was the last Christmas we would have to share with her. Her philosophy of life was to enjoy every moment, and whenever something happens to you unexpectedly, “if it’s gonna hit, it’s gonna hit”. I live that philosophy to this day. Her memory always brings me a smile.

Mom and Dad

Mom and Dad by the tree – This was taken Christmas of 1999. I had just moved back home from Michigan and we were preparing to attend a Christmas Ball. I never miss a chance to get dressed up and attend a good Greek dance! OPA!

Mom at Aunt Catherine's

Mom by Aunt Catherine’s Christmas Tree – this photo illustrates Christmas at my Aunt Catherine and Uncle George’s house. This photo was taken in December 1992.

Gather Round

All of the Family – here is a sample of some of my “big fat Greek Family” – Christmas 1992. Lots of fond memories in this photo!

Family Dinner

Christmas Dinner – Getting together with new cousins (Baby Jennifer, named after my gia gia (Pronounced YIE YA) Jenny) while remembering family members no longer with us – Christmas Day, 1994

Mom's Gift

Just what I always wanted! –My mother, Labrine, opening a gift from me. She absolutely loves making greeting cards with rubber stamps, so I decided to upgrade her current supply with new colors, new molds, and lots of glitter!
